Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards are reportedly planning to marry in June 2014.
According to Heat magazine, the couple, who confirmed they were engaged last month, are keen to set a date as soon as possible because of their busy work schedules.
The 20-year-old One Direction singer is due to finish the band's current 'Take Me Home' world tour in October, but the band have already committed to a third album for later this year which will be followed by another world tour in 2014.
Edwards, also 20, who is a singer with girl group Little Mix, are also preparing to release their second album shortly.
However, the couple are said to want to start planning their wedding and are looking at a number of lavish venues to accommodate up to 480 guests.
It has been reported that Malik has set aside a budget of £1.2m for their wedding, and he is determined to give his fiancée the "greatest wedding ever".
The couple have been dating for over a year, but their relationship hit a troubled patch earlier this year when Malik was alleged to have cheated on Edwards.
In April, the pair celebrated their first anniversary with a trip to the Eiffel Tower, in Paris, France.
