Union J singer, JJ Hamblett, has revealed he is to become a father.
The 25-year-old, who starred on The X Factor last year, confirmed the news on his Twitter account.
He wrote: "Guys I want you to be the first to know that I've got some big news...I'm going to be a daddy.... :-) :-) wooop x."
He then added: "My girlfriend and I are super super excited and the boys cant wait to be uncles! They are already thinking of names beginning with J lol :-)x."
Following the announcement, the singer's bandmates were quick to congratulate the couple, with Jaymi Hensley writing: "Congrats JJ & Cat – gonna be an uncle whoop".
Hamblett's fellow X Factor contestants, such as Rylan Clark and Christopher Maloney, also sent their congratulations.
It is understood Hamblett and his long-time girlfriend, Caterina Lopez, met while the singer was working as a DJ in a night club.
Taking to Twitter, American Lopez, wrote: "Thank you for all the beautiful messages ! WE are so happy to welcome our little monkey into the world very soon ..#itsaBeautifulLife".
