According to the National Enquirer magazine, the 44-year-old actor is expecting a baby with his personal trainer, Caroline Lindqvist.
The Swedish-born ballerina, Lindqvist, is understood to still be married to plastic surgeon Dr Ritu Chopra, but she filed for divorce in May. It is also thought the couple have been living separately for over a year.
A source is quoted by the magazine as saying: "Caroline broke the news to Owen this past May shortly after confirming that he was the father. A few days later she filed for divorce from her husband."
The publication adds that Wilson met Lindqvist shortly after his split from actress Kate Hudson in 2007. Shortly after the Wilson and Lindqvist, 42, met, the actor hired her as his personal trainer. After becoming friends, their relationship is said to have become a romantic one.
Elsewhere, the new issue of America's Star magazine has claimed the pair's romance only started after Lindqvist had left her husband Chopra, and while the physician knew his wife had moved on, the news has come as a shock.
A source said: "Ritu was completely blindsided by the news of Caroline's pregnancy."
Wilson is already a father to a two-year-old boy, Robert, with his ex-girlfriend Jade Duell. They split just five months after he was born in January 2011.
