Woman Arrested Over Suspected Wedding Fraud

A woman from Dudley has been arrested on suspicion of taking money from brides-to-be, but not providing the goods or services promised.

West Midlands Police said 30-year-old woman was arrested at an address in Sedgley, Dudley, on Wednesday following a number of complaints by customers.

It has been reported that the wedding goods and services site, which was advertised through Facebook, would accept orders and payments for goods, but the items would never be delivered. When disgruntled companies then tried to contact the company, their calls would go unanswered.
