Colin Farrell Says His Son Is 'Extraordinary'

Colin Farrell has said his eldest son, James, is "extraordinary".

The actor, who is a father of two boys, admitted they had been recently been spending more time together.

The 10-year-old has been diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, but Farrell has revealed the youngster is making great progress.

Speaking on ITV show 'This Morning', the 37-year-old said: "James is 10 and Henry is four and James has a thing called Angelman Syndrome which is a neurogenetic condition that affects motor skills and speech.

"He took his first steps when he was four years of age and he has no verbal speech, he has a greater ability with receptive language, like he'll understand things and directions but he's an extraordinary, extraordinary boy."

He added that he feels, in time, Henry will take on responsibility for his older brother.

"It's weird because in his own time Henry will realise that he is something of a bigger brother, he doesn't get it quite yet ... they're two really good boys so they'll figure each other out."

Farrell has two sons. James, 10, whose mother is model Kim Bordenave, and four-year-old Henry with actress Alicja Bachleda-Curus.
