Peter Andre Opens Up About Fatherhood

Peter Andre has admitted he wants to spend more time at home following the birth of his third child. The singer-turned-television presenter welcomed a baby girl with girlfriend Emily MacDonagh earlier this month.

It is the first time the 40-year-old has spoken in-depth about his plans since the birth and he admitted that he hasn't been getting a lot of sleep since the new arrival.

Speaking to New! magazine, he admitted: "Now the baby's here I want to space out my days off so I've got more time at home.

"You may have seen some pap shots of me last week looking really rough in my tracksuit... I'm not getting much sleep at the moment, but oddly... I'm just so excited."

The couple have remained quiet on the details of the birth, including the name of their baby daughter. Last week, Andre took to his Twitter account to reveal that the pair had yet to choose a name, and he remained equally secretive in his interview, answering: "Last week I revealed one of my resolutions was to find a nickname for our baby girl. We're getting there but for now, it'll say 'Bista's sister'."

Andre and MacDonagh, 23, have been in a relationship since July 2010. It is the first child for the trainee doctor, while Andre is also a father to Junior, seven, and five-year-old Princess from his former marriage to Katie Price.
