Knightley 'Couldn't Be A Stay-At-Home Mum'

Keira Knightley has admitted she would not give up her acting career if she was to have children.

In an interview with the Sunday Express magazine, the 28-year-old explained that she doesn't think she would be suited to being a "stay-at-home" mother.


However, she also added that she feels both men and women should be allowed to be "stay-at-home" parents without being criticised for their decision.

She said: "Would I want to be a stay-at-home mother?

"No. On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at."

Knightley married Klaxons musician James Righton in May 2013 in a small, private ceremony in the South of France. The couple first started dating in late February 2011.
