The singer and current Britain's Got Talent judge welcomed her first child, Azura Sienna, with her long-time boyfriend Azuka Ononye in October 2013. It was only recently that Dixon, 35, returned to work as auditions for the new series of BGT got underway, and in a recent interview with Reveal magazine, she said: "I've got a lot of respect for mums and dads because when you go back to work after having a baby, it's an emotional challenge.
"It's a blessing to go to work, but at the same time it's like your heart you know. It's new and you have to learn to adjust to it, so I'm kind of in that mode at the moment.
"I leave the house and I'm sad to say goodbye to her. I get to work and I have a great time and then I go back home to her. So it's a win-win for me."
Dixon has previously said is also now more particular about what work projects she signs up to because she wants to spend time with her daughter and partner.
The singer first met Ononye in 2006 when he performed as her back-up dancer, but it is thought the couple started getting closer after he helped her promote her third album, The Entertainer, in 2010.
Dixon was previously married MC Harvey in 2005, but the couple divorced after he had an affair with singer Javine Hylton.
