The poll, conducted by extramarital dating website IllicitEncounters.com, found that women are attracted to the British talent in the film industry, compared to last year when it was the American's topping the list.
For the survey, the website asked its female members who makes their heart beat faster on the big screen, and it was revealed that 'Sherlock' favourite Benedict Cumberbatch was the most popular choice with 38% of the vote. He was followed by 'Thor' actor Tom Hiddleston (27%) and '12 Years A Slave' actor Michael Fassbender took third place with 19%.
Gerard Butler, of Olympus Has Fallen fame, also featured on the list, but was only able to garner 1% of the female vote.
Comparing the vote with last year, 'Wolverine' star Hugh Jackman claimed the top spot (48%), with Bradley Cooper in second (29%), and Denzel Washington in third (16%).
