In addition, Stephen Fry is reportedly set to narrate the ceremony.
It is understood the wedding ceremony will later be broadcast by Channel 4.
According to the broadcaster, composer Benjamin Till and his partner, West End stage star Nathan Taylor, are planning to write their entire wedding ceremony as a musical, with their vows and readings to be turned into songs.
'Our Gay Wedding: The Musical', is also said to include pieces from their families, while "surprise guest stars and showbiz legends" would also make an appearance. Stephen Fry will not only introduce the programme, but add his commentary to the proceedings.
Legislation to allow same-sex marriages to take place in England and Wales comes into force from 29 March 2014, and Channel 4 said it wanted to celebrate the new laws.
Mr Till, who has composed for a number of documentary musicals, is quoted as saying: "We've been together for nearly 12 years, and never thought we'd get the chance to get married, for real.
"Doing what we both do for a living has meant that we've spent our entire lives expressing emotion through song, so getting married in a musical, particularly one that we're writing ourselves, felt like the most natural thing in the world."
John Hay, Channel 4's Commissioning Editor for Arts, added: "We are proud to be marking a huge milestone for gay rights - a cause that has long been close to Channel 4's heart.
"I'm enormously grateful to Benjamin and Nathan for sharing their day with us, and for the talent, creativity and generosity they're bringing to this amazing piece of work."
A broadcast date for the programme has yet to be revealed.
