Peter Andre Praises Fiancée

Peter Andre has described his fiancée Emily MacDonagh as his "saviour".

The singer-turned-television personality also credited the 24-year-old for helping him through some difficult times in his life.

Writing in his latest column for New! magazine, Andre, 40, admitted he was overcome with grief following the death of his brother from kidney cancer in 2013. Struggling to cope, the father of three said it was MacDonagh that helped him through everything.

He said: "I don't know how I'd have coped if Ems hadn't been there. I honestly would have gone mad without her.

"I found it really helpful having someone from the outside being there for me. She's such a sweet and harmless person."

He continued: "When I lost my brother I was unmotivated and wanted to run away.

"But all of a sudden I just thought I had to work harder than I'd ever done before.

"And before I knew it, I was doing everything and I love it."

Andre and MacDonagh have been in a relationship since July 2010. Last year, the couple confirmed they were expecting their first child together. In January this year, they welcomed a baby girl, Amelia, and just weeks later, the pair announced their engagement.

It was the first child for MacDonagh while Andre is also a father to eight-year-old Junior and Princess, six, with ex-wife Katie Price.
