Lily Allen Didn't Like Music When Pregnant

Lily Allen has admitted she doesn't like the songs she created when she was pregnant.

Allen announced a few years ago that she was taking a break from music in order to have children, but has recently returned to the business. However, in an interview with The Sun, the 28-year-old admitted that while she continued to write music when she was pregnant, she felt her songs were "terrible".


She explained: "I tried to write through my pregnancy with my youngest, but the hormones were really weird and it was just really forced and sounded terrible."

She added that while she would have been happy to stay at home to look after her children, "it just didn't work for me like that."

Allen and her husband Sam Cooper have two children together; Ethel, two, and 15-month-old Marnie.
