Jodie Kidd Announces Engagement

Jodie Kidd has announced she is to marry her partner David Blakeley.

The couple first met last November and became engaged four months ago during a trip to India, it is understood.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, the model admitted: "It's absolutely brilliant. We are totally chuffed and on cloud nine."


Blakeley, who is a former solider, added: "I've never felt like this before. I knew it was different from the moment I met Jodie."

Last summer, 35-year-old Kidd separated from her long-term partner, Argentinian polo player Andrea Vianin.

Vianin is also the father to Kidd's two-year-old son, Indio.
