Engagement News For Tommy Bowe

Ulster and Ireland rugby player Tommy Bowe is engaged.

The 30-year-old proposed to his girlfriend, Lucy Whitehouse, over the Easter weekend.

Ms Whitehouse, who is a former Miss Wales, confirmed the news on her social networking account where she posted a photo of her diamond ring.


Bowe and his partner have been in a relationship for three years. They first met through mutual friends on a night out in Wales when the rugby star was playing for Ospreys. When he moved back to Northern Ireland, the couple maintained a long-distance relationship for a few months before Whitehouse, 30, decided to join her boyfriend and start a new life in the province.

It is not yet known if the couple will hold their wedding in Wales or Ireland.
