George Clooney Designed Engagement Ring

George Clooney is reported to have helped design his fiancée's engagement ring.

According to People magazine, the ring features an ethically mined emerald-cut diamond and two tapered baguettes which are set in platinum.


Last month, it was revealed that Clooney had proposed to London lawyer Amal Alamuddin. They are thought to have been in a relationship since 2013.

Neither Clooney or Ms Alamuddin confirmed their engagement when the news first broke, but members of the Hollywood actor's family – as well as the law firm Alamuddin works for – have since spoken of their joy at the engagement news.
