Now, the 48-year-old has opened up about their romance in an interview with Hello magazine.
Confirming the split, she said: "We finally parted ways in November. It was a very sad time for both of us. Love isn't a switch that you can turn on or off at will. I still love him – we are part of each other's history.
"I struggled for a while but feel in a very good place. In fact, both professionally and personally everything is blooming."
Hurley, who is a mum-of-one, is now in a relationship with David Yarrow, a hedge fund tycoon-turned-photographer. She described him as "a man of integrity and charm and who, incidentally, cooks roast potatoes to rival those of my father."
The actress and Warne, a former cricketer, were first reported to be in a relationship in 2010 after they were spotted together outside a London restaurant. Shortly after, Hurley revealed she had separated with her husband of four years, Arun Nayar, several months earlier. Around the same time, Warne also confirmed he was no longer with his wife Simone Callahan, with whom he has three children. After both divorced their partners, Hurley and Warne revealed their engagement in September 2011.
