Divorce Rumours For Jeremy Clarkson

It has been reported that Jeremy Clarkson and his wife, Frances, are to divorce.

The couple have been married for 21 years.

It is thought that Mrs Clarkson, 52, and who works as her husband's manager, has filed for divorce.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Jeremy Clarkson's first wife – Alex Hall – is quoted as saying the current Mrs Clarkson "deserves every penny" of any settlement.


The 54-year-old Top Gear star is said to have a fortune of £30m.

Ms Hall added: "She's done her penance. It is her hard work that has made him into the idol he is today.

"Jeremy is the frontman, but behind the scenes she was the swan paddling frantically beneath the surface. So she deserves every penny she gets – she's worked for it."

Both Mr and Mrs Clarkson have refused to comment on the claims.
