Max Clifford's Wife Files For Divorce

Max Clifford's wife, Jo, has filed for divorce.

The news comes just weeks after Mr Clifford, 70, was found guilty of eight counts of historic indecent assault against women and girls as young as 15. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for his crimes.


During the publicist's trial, his wife was a notable absentee and speculation was rife that she was planning to divorce him. This has now been confirmed in a report by the Daily Mail.

Jo Clifford, who was married to the publicist for four years, will be represented by divorce lawyer Raymond Tooth, who told the paper: "They are divorcing. There are no disputed matters. Everything has been sorted out amicably so it's all done."
