The domestic abuse figures are the highest in 10 years, with one incident, on average, taking place every 19 minutes.

In response to the figures, Jonathan Craig MLA and Policing Board member, is quoted in the Belfast Telegraph as saying: "This means that there have been at least 69 victims of murder or manslaughter as a consequence of domestic abuse in Northern Ireland over the past 10 years. A very concerning figure."
