Dogs Partake In Mass Wedding Ceremony

A public mass wedding ceremony has been held in Lima, Peru – for dogs.

The canine ceremony saw around 40 of the animals dressed in white wedding gowns or black tuxedos as they tied the knot.

A number of chihuahuas and a shih-tzu took part in the ceremony as their owners and witnesses observed.

According to reports, the organiser – Ingrid Chavarri – said the public ceremony encouraged people to become responsible pet owners.

Wedding certificates were also issued to the owners by the district of San Miguel and included paw prints of the happy bride and groom.
