US Bride Criticised For Carrying Baby In Wedding Dress Train

A bride in the US has come under fire after pictures from her wedding apparently show her one-month-old daughter lying in the train of her wedding dress as she walked down the aisle.

Pictures of the wedding, held last month in Ripley, Tennessee, show Shona Carter-Brooks walking down the aisle, with her baby, Audrey, lying in the taffeta of the train.


According to reports, Mrs Brooks responded to criticism of the pictures by posting on Facebook: "The answer is we do what we want, when we want, as long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gona (sic) continue to be fine."

Another posted, signed "Mr & Mrs Brooks!!" read: "Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train.

"Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!!"
