A new study has revealed the sexiest countries in the world – based on men's and women's perceptions.
The poll, conducted by travel dating website MissTravel.com, found that, for men, the sexiest nation in the world is Brazil. When it comes to choosing the most attractive men in the world, however, women think Australia have the title.
Elsewhere, Great Britain finished in the top ten countries for both men and women. Sadly for America though, the same couldn't be said. Women did rank their male counterparts in the US as the sixth sexiest in the world – but men didn't say the same for their females.
The poll also asked men and women to rank the qualities that contribute to attractiveness when travel dating. Men ranked 'accent' and 'body type' the highest, with 44% and 31% respectively. Interestingly, women ranked accent and appearance in their choices.
Brandon Wade, Founder and CEO of MissTravel.com, said: "Many American men want something more exotic in their lives. While the 'girl next door type' may be exotic to other cultures, American men prefer a foreign beauty.
"Last year, British men were chosen as the winners of our survey, this year it is Australia. It seems that American women are drawn to a distinct type of man. This man is handsome, sophisticated and the accent doesn't hurt."
