Solomon 'Will Be Fine' Following Separation

Stacey Solomon has admitted she will be "fine" following her split from fiancé Aaron Barnham.

In April, a spokesperson for the former X Factor singer confirmed the couple had ended their romance. Following the news, Solomon remained quiet about the separation, but has now addressed the issue. Speaking as she endorsed BubbleBum, an inflatable car booster seat, the mum-of-two said that the split had been "very upsetting", but did not go into the reasons as to why the couple ended their relationship.

She added: "It's certainly not what I'd planned for. Like most girls, I always had that classic dream of having a big white wedding and being married with kids, but it hasn't quite worked out that way for me.

"I don't even know whether that a real-life scenario any more, but what matters is that I do have the children and they are happy. I have wonderful support from my family, my mum helps me look after the boys, and I know we'll be fine."

Solomon and Barnham started dating in 2009 and became engaged in 2011. Shortly after, they announced they were expecting their first child together. Their son, Leighton, was born in May 2012. Solomon, 24, is also a mother to Zachary, six, from a previous relationship.
