The couple have only been in a relationship since May after they met at the Cannes Film Festival, but surprised everyone earlier this month when they announced they had tied the knot. The private ceremony was held at the resort of Mustique, with just four guests in attendance, so it is thought the former Girls Aloud singer is now planning a large post-wedding party for her family and friends to attend.
According to the Mail Online, a source explained: "Cheryl just wants to share her happiness with those closest to her and will be throwing a party at some point later this week.
"She's been so busy that she hasn't had time to see everyone since she flew back home, so this is the perfect opportunity for her and Jean-Bernard to catch up with their nearest and dearest."
The friend of the 31-year-old added that the couple will not have a second wedding in the UK.
"She won't be renewing her vows or having another ceremony as has been reported, or even be wearing a wedding dress," they claimed.
Cheryl was previously married to footballer Ashley Cole, but following allegations that he had been unfaithful, they divorced in 2010. Following their separation, she kept her married surname explaining that she "wasn't ashamed" of her marriage. However, last week she dropped her ex-husband's surname from her Twitter handle, later confirming that she is to take her new partner's name and become Mrs Fernandez-Versini.
