Joey Boyes, 27, from North Yorkshire, composed the speech for his best friend Dominic Clark's wedding to Rebecca.
According to reports, his performance took six months to complete as he wrote the revised lyrics and learned them – before pestering his family and friends with his constant practising.
The song, which Boyes renamed 'Best Man Joe', include lines such as: "After years of dating mingers, he's finally found a queen", "Best man Joe, says hello, to the couple with the brightest spark; Best man Joe, says hello, to the brand new Mrs Clark" and "The groom he too looks great, I'm sure you'll all agree."
The performance by the best man was recorded and put online following the couple's reception last Saturday, with the video quickly going viral.
Boyes himself was surprised with the reaction, as he tweeted: "Well not in a million years did I expect this sort of reaction! Thanks to everyone that shared. #BestManJoe"
