According to reports, Hamilton, 32, was attending her friend's wedding when she started to feel unwell during the speeches. She decided to go to hospital was kept in overnight at Bristol Hospital as she is now just two weeks away from her due date.
A source is quoted by the Daily Mirror as saying: "It was a late wedding, so the speeches were going on at 9pm when Natasha started feeling a bit sick. She had some pains, and decided to go to hospital just to be safe."
They added: "She had a baby bag ready with her just in case, and told pals there that Ritchie had even warned her that she might be better off missing the party just to be safe. But she loves Kez [Kerry] so she went along to show her support."
After spending the night in hospital, the singer was released without giving birth.
She tweeted afterwards: "Well what an eventful 48 hours I've had! Totally exhausted & glad to be home. Thanks to all at #SouthMeadHospital who took care of us x (sic)".
Her boyfriend, Ritchie Neville, added: "Wasn't expecting to spend the night in hospital with @NatashaOfficial it's been a long day and night but all is okay."
"Wish this baby would just decide to be here now. The suspense is killing me @NatashaOfficial' :)".
This will be the couple's first child together, but Hamilton is already a mother to Josh, 11, with her ex Fran Cosgrove; Harry, nine, from her relationship with Gavin Hatcher and four-year-old Alfie from her relationship with ex-husband Riad Erraji. In July 2013, Hamilton announced she and Erraji had decided to end their six-year marriage. Later that year, she started a relationship with Neville.
