Amal Alamuddin 'Will Pay For Wedding'

Amal Alamuddin is reportedly said to be paying most of the bill for her upcoming wedding to George Clooney.

According to US media reports, Ms Alamuddin's family have been described as "old-fashioned" and are therefore happy to pay for the couple's big day.

Us Weekly quotes an insider as saying: "Crazy enough, her family is paying for most of it."


The publication has also released details of the couple's wedding, which is alleged to be taking place on 27 September in Venice, Italy. Just 60 guests are expected to attend the ceremony at the Aman Canal Grande Venice hotel, while Alamuddin's sister will be the maid of honour and Rande Gerber, the husband of Cindy Crawford, will be Clooney's best man. It is thought Andrea Bocelli will entertain the guests at the ceremony.

Earlier this month, Clooney, 53, announced he was to marry his fiancée in Venice. The couple first announced their engagement in April. They are thought to have started dating in October 2013.
