Rylan Clark has confirmed he is engaged to Dan Neal.
Earlier this week, the Daily Star reported that the pair had become engaged during a recent romantic trip to Paris.
Clark, who rose to fame after appearing on The X Factor in 2012, has now confirmed the news.
Addressing his followers on Twitter, the 25-year-old shared a photo of himself and Neal, a former police officer involved in the Operation Yewtree squad. A 'watermark' was placed on the image which read, "We're engaged", while Clark also wrote: "Pleased to say we're engaged. Thank you for all your lovely messages. Myself and @DanNealOfficial are very happy xxx".
The couple first met last year; Mr Neal was a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother. Following his eviction from the house, he appeared on the spin-off show 'Big Brother's Bit On The Side', which was co-hosted by Clark.
However, the pair kept their relationship out of the spotlight until November 2013.
