On Thursday, The Sun newspaper reported the former TOWIE star had let slip where the couple are to tie the knot. It was said they had booked the Houghton Hall stately home in Norfolk. However, Wright has since taken to his Twitter account to deny the reports saying they "couldn't be further away" from the truth.
The 27-year-old told his followers that he was having a "private conversation" with a friend at a party earlier this week, but when he was asked about his wedding plans, he knew people were listening in, so he deliberately said the couple had chosen a wedding venue in Norfolk.
He explained: "I told my friend a place I am getting married next year and now it's in the press.
"Well guess what? I told my friend the wrong place because I can't be honest in case this happens.
"Well done to the person ear wigging though. You did your job well but sorry matey, you have it wrong. In fact it couldn't be further away."
Keegan and Wright started dating in December 2012, having met at a New Year's Eve party in Dubai. They announced their engagement in September 2013. Earlier this year, they admitted that they hadn't been able to plan much of their wedding due to their busy work schedules, but confirmed they would tie the knot in 2015.
