Greg Rutherford Becomes A Father

Greg Rutherford has announced he has become a father for the first time.

The Olympic gold medallist and his girlfriend, Susie Verrill, welcomed their first child on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, the 27-year-old shared a photo of the baby's hand alongside the couple's and wrote: "Happiest day of my life."


Ms Verrill shared the same image, captioning the snap: "And then there were three..."

The couple welcomed a baby boy, and while they have not released his name, it is thought he has been named Milo.

In a tweet, which was later deleted, Susie's brother Paddy said: "Congratulations to my sister @rugbycupcakes and @GregJRutherford on the birth of baby Milo! He's beautiful."
