She is quoted by the publication as saying: "It was the right guy at the wrong time. I was about to start a tour, and he was also all over the place. There's only so much you can do when you don't see each other.
"I really admire people who have long-distance relationships. It's an incredible achievement. I couldn't do it."
In June, 30-year-old Harris announced via Twitter that he and Ora had decided to call time on their one-year relationship. The Scottish DJ said: "To address speculation – myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago. She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best."
The couple were said to have parted amicably, but then things took a slightly darker turn when Harris banned his ex from performing a song he wrote for her – I Will Never Let You Down – at the Teen Choice Awards. Ora, 23, expressed her disappointment at the time of not being able to perform, but her former partner hit back saying he had "a damn good reason" for not letting her perform his track.
