The singer tied the knot with her partner Andrew Levitas in September in a ceremony at London's Hampton Court Palace.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the 34-year-old opened up about the couple's special day, saying: "Having our close family and friends there was what made it. We didn't want to make it a big deal, that's not us. We were so glad [George] Clooney had his wedding on the same day. It was the perfect distraction.
"I am very, very happy. I am loving being a wife and married. It is an amazing feeling."
She also joked that she believes it was her cooking skills that actually sealed the deal for the couple's relationship. She explained: "I don't think I wooed him with my cooking, but I think my cooking cemented the relationship. That was the deciding factor.
"My chocolate brownies are amazing. He loves everything I cook – there's roast dinners and shepherd's pies. He loves my music, but he loves my cooking the most. I'm very into it too."
Jenkins and Levitas, an American artist and filmmaker, announced their engagement in April after six months of dating.
