The Saturdays' singer is a contestant on this year's show and has been partnered with professional dancer Kevin Clifton. The show is said to have a 'curse' on relationships, as a number of contestants – and dancers – on the show, saw their romances break up as they took part on the show after they found love with their dance partner instead. However, in an interview with OK! magazine, 25-year-old Bridge has said she and her husband Wayne have no such worries.
"The show wouldn't come between me and Wayne," she said. "Kevin's like a brother to me. I don't think it [the curse] is Strictly's fault – there must be something wrong in the relationships already."
She continued: "I actually think this whole subject is made into a bigger thing than it is – after all, there are 15 couples every year, the show has been on for 12 series so there aren't all that many couples affected by the supposed Strictly 'curse'."
The singer added that her husband isn't jealous of the long hours she spends with her dance partner. She explained: "I'd get up and go to work every day anyway and he comes down every week so he feels part of it."
Frankie and Wayne, 34, have been in a relationship since December 2010. In May 2013, the couple confirmed they were expecting their first child together. The news came just weeks after they announced their engagement. In October 2013, the pair welcomed a son, Parker. The couple married in July this year at Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire.
