Katie Price On Losing Baby Weight

Katie Price has defended new mothers, saying they shouldn't feel pressurised into returning to their pre-pregnancy shape as soon as possible.

Her comments come despite the former model sharing a number of photos earlier this year when she boasted about returning to her size eight frame – just three weeks after giving birth.

Speaking on Australia's Channel 7 'The Morning Show' where she has her own segment, The Price Is Right, the 36-year-old explained that each of her pregnancies has been different in terms of losing her baby weight.

She said: "I put on four stone with Jett. With Bunny I put on about a stone and a half, so my figure got back to shape really quickly.

"After two weeks my belly was flat which was really weird because not with all of them has it been like that. But I have had a bit of a stressful year, so that probably made a difference.

"I don't think anyone should be in any rush at all after they've had a baby – enjoy the baby, don't worry about getting into shape is what I say."

Price welcomed her fifth child, Bunny, in August this year. It is her second child with husband Kieran Kayler; their son, Jett Riviera, was born in August 2013. Price is also a mother to Harvey, 12, Junior, eight, and six-year-old Princess from previous relationships.
