The couple, who confirmed they had ended their on-off romance on an episode of TOWIE earlier this month, exchanged insults on the social networking site on Wednesday evening after the latest episode of the show aired on television.
In the episode, Wright was seen confronting her ex after he failed to challenge their co-star Mario Falcone over claims he wanted to date her. She tweeted: "Maybe he knew already but was too embarrassed to confront 'his friend'... Instead he'd rather stay up his a**? Coward. (sic)"
Her ex quickly responded with: "No I'd rather let him have you lol #goodluckmario. (sic)".
The argument then continued, with Wright saying: "You know its true & so do others. Good luck with your fake friendship & take ur disrespect elsewhere & stop tweeting about me.
"I'm so embarrassed I never thought I would have to be involved in such a level of disrespectful tweets after 2 yrs (sic)."
However, Rayment said he wasn't "the one making up sh** to get attention. Let's leave each other alone."
It was his former flame who had the finally say though, telling her fans: "Sometimes we lose our cool. We're all human. Moment over. Very sad it had to reach this level. Good night world."
Earlier this month, Wright and Rayment called time on their two-and-a-half year relationship after Rayment was said to have been texting other women behind his girlfriend's back. He has denied the claims that he was unfaithful.
