Hawash, 39, dated the reality television personality on-and-off for three years before they decided to end their engagement at the beginning of this year. Following the split, 33-year-old Collins accused her former partner of verbally abusing her and making cruel remarks about her weight. Now, Hawash has hit back, claiming his ex has a temper.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Hawash, who is a car mechanic, is quoted as saying: "She needs help for her anger issues. If things were not going well she would take it out on me.
"She once threw a glass and went berserk and chucked a curry at me."
He also spoke of an incident where, when he was trying to watch an episode of TOWIE, his partner threw an Indian takeaway at him. Hawash later said he found out that Collins did not want him to watch it because is showed her flirting with her ex-boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent in a swimming pool.
He added: "If she doesn't get her own way she can go off like a firework. She would cry, moan and swear."
His comments come just hours after Collins quit reality television show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' after just 72 hours. In that time, viewers saw the TOWIE member throw a number of tantrums and tears, claiming she "couldn't cope" with life in the jungle.
