The singer, who is a member of The Script, admitted he hopes that if he used the dating app, it would help him find "the one".
In an interview with The Metro newspaper, the 34-year-old said: "I'm on Tinder. I have it downloaded on my phone, I just haven't set it up yet. I think it would be really funny to just go on there and see what it is."
He added that he is looking to settle down, following his split from Irma Mali, who he dated for four years.
"I would like to have something long term. Although I am happy being single, it's not like I'm out having one-night stands," he commented.
However, he did admit that he is concerned about meeting prospective partners because of his fame. He explained: "I definitely come pre-introduced if they have read some story about me. It's imaginary baggage which a lot of the time isn't true.
"They might get this warped view of me as being someone who is a fashion photographer who likes boxing and I want to beat up Jarvis Cocker and I hate The X Factor – which is all wrong."
He added: "I'm actually a really easy going guy. I don't hate anything and I quite like life, you know?"
