Lauren Platt Confirms Relationship Split

Lauren Platt has confirmed she is no longer in a relationship with her boyfriend Liam Baker.

The revelation comes just weeks after the X Factor star insisted the couple's romance was "rock solid".

Recently, the 17-year-old was said to have struck up a relationship with One Direction's Niall Horan, but she has since denied the claims and said it is not the reason her time with Baker has ended.


In a short tweet to her followers, which has now been deleted, she wrote: "Me and Liam are taking a break but it's nothing to do with the stories."

She later added: "Me and Liam have been through a lot guys, I still love him but we just need some time."

The reasons for the couple's separation have not been revealed.
