1 In 10 Brits 'Join Mile High Club'

A new survey has revealed that one in 10 Brits have joined the 'Mile High Club'.

The poll, conducted by lastminute.com, also found that men are more likely to admit the tryst than women.

For example, a sixth of men confessed to joining the club compared to a twelfth of women.

Elsewhere, 30% said that their planned Mile High meeting was thwarted by the flight's cabin crew.

However, while 11% of Britons admitted to having a cheeky dalliance mid-air, they fall behind the French and Germans, with 27% and 18%, respectively, claiming they are part of the famous club.

A spokesperson for lastminute.com is quoted by the Daily Mail as saying: "It doesn't come as much of a surprise to see the French top this poll, they are certainly doing what they can to live up to our expectations, proving to be the most amorous in Europe."
