The Take That star made the revelation over the weekend, much to the delight of brides-to-be throughout the UK and further afield.
On New Year's Day, the 43-year-old admitted to his fans that he was going to have "some fun" this year, and come up with things to keep everyone "amused".
Two days later, the singer revealed his first surprise of the year.
In a series of tweets, he wrote: "Ready for some fun?
"Every week I receive thousands of requests to sing at someone's wedding!
"In 2015 I want to sing at 3 weddings.
"The only deal is they have to be HUGE fans.
"And all you have to do is stalk me on here.
"I won't publish on here which weddings till after the event.
"In the past best friends have organised these things so if you want to keep a surprise no problem."
Perhaps not surprisingly, the singer was quickly inundated with those getting married this year – and some who aren't – asking if he would consider choosing their wedding, leading Barlow to joke: "Well the good news is there's lots of weddings !!!!!! ;) (sic)".
Couples have since been taking to Twitter and coming up with their own unique hashtags, and why they should be the one to have Barlow sing on their big day.
