Ian Somerhalder is reportedly engaged to Nikki Reed.
The couple have not addressed the claims, but a number of media outlets in the US claim the actors are planning to tie the knot.
The pair started dating last summer.
36-year-old Somerhalder was previously in a relationship with his 'Vampire Diaries' co-star Nina Dobrev for three years, before going their separate ways in May 2013. Reed, 26, was formerly married to singer Paul McDonald. The couple first met in March 2011 and announced their engagement three months later. They married that October. In March 2014, the couple confirmed they had separated after living apart for six months due to work commitments.
She started dating Somerhalder in July 2014.
