The reality television star is already a mum to one-year-old daughter North, and has spoken of her desire to add to her family. However, she has also admitted that she and husband Kanye West are struggling to conceive.
It is understood that the 34-year-old's pregnancy troubles will now be documented on the reality show's upcoming tenth season.
Speaking to the press at the E! International Press Junket in LA, Kardashian said: "I just try to be as open as possible, and it has been more challenging to get pregnant the second time than the first.
"It's just how God works, when you aren't planning it it happens, and then when you want it so bad, it's not happening, so I think that's relatable to a lot of people. And that's the business that we're all about is just opening up and being relatable."
She also revealed that her partner isn't always as keen on her sharing details about their personal life.
"He [Kanye] is more private than I am, but he understands my life. I was doing this before we met, and he respects that. He just respects what I do and is very supportive. And there are obviously some times when he wouldn't want something shown too much, and other times when he's like 'Go for it'.
"He knows how important it is to share my life because I've always been so open. So in a relationship there's definitely compromise, and he knows when there's certain things which will be meaningful to me."
Kardashian and West, 37, have been in a relationship since April 2012. In December 2012, it was confirmed they were expecting their first child together. The pair welcomed a daughter, North 'Nori' West, the following June and in October 2013, they announced their engagement. They married in a lavish ceremony in Florence in May 2014.
