The singer, from Manchester-based band 'The 1975', was said to have been romantically linked to the American singer after the pair exchanged numbers last year. In November 2014, Healy wore one of Swift's album t-shirts on stage, and she later returned the favour by sporting a 1975 tour top, leading many to speculate that they were dating. Swift was later spotted at one of the band's gigs.
However, speaking to Angus O'Loughlin and Ash London from Shazam, on 2DayFM, the 25-year-old said of the claims: "It's fake. It's all... fake. It's a farce!
"Yeah, we met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do and we spoke occasionally.
"And she's the biggest pop star in the world and I'm in Australia. There's no like, relationship or anything happening. It's just funny how people really, really buy into that."
