Writing in her column for the Daily Star she said: "I can't glamourise being a brass. Like I said, it all boils down to the same thing if you are being passed money via a car window by a kerb-crawler or whether he's leaving you money on the bedside table in Mayfair.
"BUT and it's a big BUT, a lot of women enjoy what they do.
"If working for a well-established agency, not a pimp (know the difference), then the job can be safe and sound with minimal risks."
Helen also revealed she would like prostitution to be legalised.
She said: "I'm not sure who wants the ban more, men or women?
"I'm going to opt for the fairer sex as this would maybe make them feel better about their husbands going out alone: less escorts, less cheating.
"Jokes, who are you trying to kid?
"If Mr Randy wants a bang, he'll get one. Whether it's paying a professional or dropping his pants behind the Dog Inn, he'll get his end away faster than you can say 'text me'.
"Sadly, closed-minded people believe a ban would prevent this, or at least lower the percentage of infidelity. It won't. A cheat is a cheat my friend."
