Billy Joel To Become A Father

Billy Joel and his girlfriend Alexis Roderick have confirmed they are to become parents later this year.

The couple have been in a relationship for five years.

In a statement to DailyMail.com, a representative for the singer said: "Billy Joel and his girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, are expecting their first child this summer. The singer has one daughter, singer/songwriter Alexa Ray Joel. The couple, together since 2009, opted to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut."


Joel, 65, and Roderick, 33, first met at a restaurant five years ago. While this will be the couple's first child together, Joel is also a father to daughter Alexa, 29, from his former marriage to model Christie Brinkley.
