The incident happened at some time between 12 noon on Monday 22 June and 12 noon on Friday 26 June, Thames Valley Police said. The intruder is believed to have forced entry into the property in Tring Road, Aylesbury after. A yellow gold wedding ring and a white gold wedding ring were stolen in the incident, as well as a sapphire and diamond gold necklace, a gold bangle, a gold pendant with a blue stone, a gold watch a silver charm bracelet, a 9ct gold sapphire and diamond earrings, a 9ct gold pearl and gold ring and earrings, a 9ct gold ring with smoky grey stone, a 18ct gold pocket watch chain, gold earrings and a signet ring.
€100, £30 in one pound coins and six bottles of San Miguel beer were also stolen.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Bruce Wilson, said: "Two wedding rings were among the jewellery taken in the burglary. I would urge anyone with information to contact police via 101 with anything that might assist our enquiries.
"We would like to hear from anyone who saw anything unusual in the area between Monday and Friday last week. It is possible that the items have been offered for sale so if you have been offered such items or seen them for sale then please contact police."
