Her confession comes after it was revealed her partner had started drinking again.
Bright and Arg, who both star on The Only Way Is Essex, were seen having a heart-to-heart in the latest episode of the show after Arg confessed he had slipped back into a few bad habits. Over the Christmas period last year, he entered rehab before turning his life around and winning back his girlfriend. When it was revealed that he had started drinking again, however, Bright broke down and the couple had an argument.
Arg subsequently vowed to become a more "responsible adult" and that he wouldn't drink again.
Now, speaking to the official TOWIE website, he added that he has had a "few slip ups" recently.
"I've got to make these changes and continue my progress that I've made so far. I've had a few slip ups recently so I've just got to nip it in the bud," he said. "The plan going forward is to go through with what I said I've done: Motivation, get myself back in the gym, eat healthy and make more of an effort around the house.
"[I need to] make more effort with Lydia in regards to the relationship and do some nice things, start being more of an adult and more responsible. I'm confident in myself. I've come this far from where I was, and today to what I was in November is a completely different person. I suppose there are some insecurities that made a bit of issue but I suppose it's nothing we can't sort out."
Bright also spoke to the TOWIE website and said: "I feel a lot happier that me and Arg have spoke. It's good to talk about things rather than burying them and sweeping them under the carpet. That's why we're in the position we are now because I ended up just exploding. Let's just hope that things change moving forward.
"I do worry about Arg because he's been through a very dark place once in his life and he's battled with demons, so I wouldn't care about him if I wasn't worried about him sometimes. I just think sometimes he needs to hear the harsh truth and the reality of what things can become if he doesn't nip things in the bud.
"It's hard sometimes talking to James because he tries to make a joke of everything, but I hope he took on board what I said because things can't carry on the way that they have been for the last few days.
"Fingers crossed things will change now. I just want James to take life a little bit more seriously and for him to just mature a little bit and grow up. It's a long time coming so hopefully he will."
