The couple first met in 2013 after they both appeared on ITV's reality television show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'. At the time, many commented on the couple's chemistry during their time spent in the Australian jungle and after they both left the show, they were quoted in the press as saying they were in a relationship. However, 22-year-old Willerton has now slammed the former TOWIE star, admitting that there was no romance between them, but rather a "fauxmance".
Speaking to Now magazine, the model confessed: "To be honest, that was a horrible experience. If someone says to you, 'Hey, let's be in a fake relationship!' you're like, 'No, that's not what I want!'
"I didn't even know that kind of thing went on."
She continued: "I said, 'No you can take me on a date.' We'd been friends until then but suddenly he wanted more. I remember people saying we could be managed as a couple and when I said, 'No, I want to do my own thing,' he stopped talking to me, just like that.
"It took a long time to get over it because it hurt so much. I though he liked me. I spent Christmas sobbing into my pillow. Looking back, I feel so silly."
