For example, the top faux pas was revealed to be the inappropriate best man's speech, closely followed by guests who get too drunk and those who hook up with one of the bridesmaids. Insulting the mother of the bride also featured on the list.
When it comes to the wedding guests, however, they too experience stress when it comes to preparing for someone's wedding. For example, two fifths of women said the day would be ruined if they turned up in the same outfit as another guest; while a third were concerned that the other guest would look better than them. One in five said they would even go as far as to avoid being photographed with the other guest.
Meanwhile, a fifth confessed that they would be embarrassed if they were caught wearing the same wedding outfit more than once, while half purchase a new outfit for each wedding they attend.
