Former Steps Star Blames Yo-Yo Dieting On Fertility Issues

Former Steps star Claire Richards has revealed yo-yo dieting has caused her to struggle to get pregnant.

Claire, 37, is well known for her fluctuating waistline since she left Steps.

Speaking to the Mirror she said she only has herself to blame for her fertility struggles.


She told the publication: "I feel I only have myself to blame, so it would be unfair to go down that road when there are so many couples who have not been blessed with any kids and it is their only option - and when they haven't done it themselves like I have.

"I guess maybe I feel I don't deserve to be third time lucky. ICF just doesn't feel like the right thing to do to my body."

Claire has two children with her husband Reece Hill, Charlie, eight, and Daisy, five.
